Fleet
Van hire
Seven to thirteen seats for teams, families and group transfers. We run 25 vehicles in this class.
What van are for
A Hiace or a Karvaan does the work a coaster is too big for. Thirteen seats fits a department, a family travelling together or an airport run with luggage, and it will go down a residential lane where a coaster has to stop at the corner and make everyone walk.
They are the quickest thing in the fleet to load and unload, and the cheapest per kilometre of anything that carries more than five people.
Worth knowing first
- Seats against luggage
- A thirteen-seat van carrying thirteen people has little room left for bags. For an airport run, count the suitcases as well as the passengers and we will size it accordingly.
- Better in the city than its size suggests
- A van parks where a coaster cannot and turns where a coach cannot. On a route with several stops in built-up areas it often beats a larger vehicle on time, not just on cost.
- Grand Cabin is not the same as a standard Hiace
- The high-roof Grand Cabin is a different vehicle to sit in on a four-hour journey. The specification sheet on each vehicle says which one it is.
