Sedan hire
Comfortable saloons for daily use, airport runs and intercity travel. We run 9 vehicles in this class.
What sedan are for
A saloon is the default rental in Pakistan and usually the right one. Four passengers, a boot that takes two large cases, and the best fuel consumption of anything that is not a hatchback.
They go out self-drive and with a driver in roughly equal numbers. On a long motorway run the consumption is what makes them cheap: fifteen kilometres to the litre against eight for a coaster is the whole difference in a trip total.
Worth knowing first
- With fuel or without
- Without fuel, you take it full and return it full and pay for exactly what you burn. With fuel, the quote includes it, worked out from the distance and the car's consumption. On a trip whose distance you control, without fuel is usually cheaper.
- Automatic costs a little more to run
- On city driving an automatic returns slightly less per litre than the same car as a manual. Over a month of commuting that is a real number, and it is in the consumption figures on each vehicle.
- A boot is not infinite
- Four passengers with four cases is a saloon's limit and often past it. If everyone is travelling with luggage, an SUV or a van costs less than two cars.
