Coaster hire
Twenty-two seats, the backbone of our staff transport contracts. We run 22 vehicles in this class.
What coaster are for
The coaster is the backbone of staff transport in Pakistan, and most of what we run. Twenty-two seats is the size at which a company route stops needing two vehicles and starts needing one, and the coaster fits down roads a full coach cannot.
Almost all of ours go out on contract: a fixed route, a fixed timing, the same driver every morning. They also go out by the day for group travel, college trips, weddings and anything where a party of twenty has to arrive together.
Worth knowing first
- Fuel is the number that moves
- A coaster returns around 8 km/l on the motorway and less in traffic. On a long trip the diesel is a larger part of the quote than the daily rate, so a change in the notified price changes the total.
- Two coasters often beat one coach
- Thirty people rarely live in one direction. Two vehicles running two shorter routes get everyone to work on time; one larger vehicle collecting in sequence means the first person aboard travels for ninety minutes.
- The driver is part of the service
- A staff route works because the driver knows the road, the stops and the people. Ours stay on a route rather than rotating through it.
